Loud voice therapy focuses on increasing volume, speaking clearer and improving confidence in communication.
Initially developed and targeted at individuals with Parkinson’s disease, loud voice therapy can also help with a range of other conditions where volume and strength of voice may be impacted.
Exercises should be carried out on a daily basis to see results, and practised consistently thereafter to maintain progress.
Initial assessment is £95 (1 hour online appointment).
Follow up sessions are £55 (30 minute online appointments).
You may have had a stammer as a child which has continued in to adulthood. Or you may have a newly acquired stammer as an adult. However your stammer began, therapy can help you to understand this on an overt (physical features) and covert level (psychological features).
It is important to not avoid or supress a stammer, and therapy can help you to feel more in control of your stammer rather than it controlling you.
Every stammer is different and so all therapy should be individualised too. Approaches include understanding individual features of your stammer, working through negative thought processes and focusing on control or fluency techniques to build confidence.
Please do get in touch if you want to find out more about how therapy could help you.

Either way, I can help you to talk through your diagnosis, educate you on the causes and provide you with the correct strategies to improve your symptoms at your own pace.
